Volume Control Problem

It seems that the volume control(the little box on the end of a wire with volume and bass on) on my set of 5.1 speakers has broken. My volume seems to dodge about now and then and when I slightly tap the box it jumps back up again.

Is it possible to replace the small volume control box?

I know exactly what the OP means, as i had the same problem with my creative 6700s.

Basically i contacted creative and they sent me a new volume control module.

I was out of warranty as well so its well worth contacting them.

And when you got the new volume control your sound stopped bouncing around? Mine are also Creative.

It also struggles to find power when I first turn it on, so I keep turning it up thinking I havn't turned it up enough and it blows to roof off.

I'll contact Creative and see what they can do, cheers.

It's been exactly a week, I think, since I sent them an email and still no reply. Should I just keep waiting?
