Hoping somebody will know the answer and be able to set my mind at rest 
My Volvo C30 needs a few things sorting before (actually been meaning to get them sorted since the last MOT...) its MOT needs to be done in a week or two, I have a friend who is a mechanic and will be doing the work for me once I get the parts.
It has these advisories:

According to what I have been able to ascertain the difference is denoted by the VIN which is: YV1MK4352C2279312, looking at ball joints shows the following: VIN TO CH-260 for the 18mm version and VIN FROM CH-261 for the 21mm. This page here: https://www.partsforvolvosonline.co...=9089&osCsid=19e26e26ebb1c8cbd4c466e706aef72c says that the chassis number refers to the last 6 digits of the VIN, EDIT: Which to me says I need the 21mm version as listed on the link, having been to the local auto parts place today the chap was fairly positive it was the last 7 digits and therein lies the issue, anybody know for sure?
They're quite happy for me to take both sets and return the ones I don't need but rather than do that I'd thought I'd ask the forum knowledgebase first as I can't seem to find a definitive answer on the web.

- Nearside Front Suspension arm pin or bush worn but not resulting in excessive movement Wishbone Rear Bush (5.3.4 (a) (i))
- Offside Front Suspension arm pin or bush worn but not resulting in excessive movement Wisbone Rear Bush ** STRONG ADVISE** (5.3.4 (a) (i))
