Hi Guys,
is anyone using this service i was having a look on their site and it looks rather appealing. I am reading it correctly though?

Free anytime 24/7 calls to any landline in the uk and ROI for only 7.99 a month?

Your thoughts and recommendations on this guys would be a great help

cheers

I'm using Vonage here - got it about 8 months ago when it was 14.99 a month.

Works very well with my Blueyonder 4mb cable, no problems to report as yet, email customer service provided a prompt responce to a question I had once.

My average phone bill is around £8.30 a month!

is that £8.30 total m8 or plus your 14.99?

do you actually get free uk landline calls?

£8:30 total, when the price dropped they lowered my price to match.

Yep, that's free calls to all 01 and 02 numbers. So my only costs are 0845 / 0870 and 07 (I've barred premium rate numbers)

It also emails me when a voicemail is left.

They do a 14 day trial so you might want to give it a go anyway. You have to pay upfront but they refund if you cancel and send the equipment back. I had a fairly bad voice delay on every phonecall and after a couple of lengthy holds waiting for tech support they said it was as good as it was going to get. I couldn't get used to the delay so sent it all back and they did indeed refund me.

If you do need to send it back make sure they give you the UK address which i think was a TNT centre. The first lady tried to convince me it had to go to a US address and couldn't understand why I found this somewhat concerning :p
