Vostro 1400 9 Cell Battery

i've been looking at the Vostro 1400 and i just wondered what sort of figure can be achieved by the 9 cell battery. (saving every last drop i.e. darkening the screen and little amounts of usage) are we talking 4 Hours? 5?

I've got 6 hours out of mine on darkest screen and power saver mode.

This is a 1500 with a T7500 and 8600GT.

ok so on average your talking 3-4 hours with the screen brighter and multitasking? i presume thats a 9 cell you have? also i guess having the 8600GT uses more power? or is that irrelevant

I'm not sure how much extra power the 8600GT uses, but I don't imagine it's all that much. And yes it's with the 9 cell battery

And doing bits and pieces on it, ie. word processing or surfing the net, I generally get about 4 hours runtime.

I generally use the screen on about half to two thirds brightness.
