Vostro 1500 HDD Upgrade

Hi everyone,

I have a quick question about upgrading the hdd in my vostro 1500. I'm wanting to upgrade from the 160gb 5400 rpm one that came with it to:

I'm not sure if the laptop will support it. Sorry to sound like a complete newbie, please could someone give some help/advice?

I was just worried SATA2 would not be compatible, I have very little knowledge of hard drives.

Edit:
I won't worry too much about power consumption and noise as it's plugged in most of the time, and I've got 100W speakers either side of it!
