Having first hand experience of both there is no competition.
Akasa Zen, the quieter and better cooling of the two cases while being better built, although the looks are personal.
The Zen is the best £30 you can spend on a case, period in my opinion. I would take it over every other case sub £100 bar the PC7+ and Akasa Eclipse I rate it that highly.
I can recommend the Zen with more confidence than if I was to recommend you buy the Lian Li S80; I rate the Zen that much.
If you find it terrible you will only lose £3 on the case cost if it is mint, they hold their value really well.
No risk purchase, there is a reason why OcUK is currently sold out.
It's a cleaner looking case, doesn't have a pointlessly large fan on the side and is made by the makers of the Eclipse, a very popular case amoungst OcUKers (I'm a PC7 boy myself though). I am tempted by one of these cases to be honest as I have a second PC that I want as a media/server machine and that would look fine in my living room.
Nice comments guys thanks, do you think the white or black looks better on the zen? I do have beige DVD and FDD but that doesn't matter I don't think as it has covers over these devices.
Yewen do you have any nice images of the Zen I could have a look at, I know you are into your cases etc. Just helps me with buying!
EDIT:Going to fit a Thermaltake HR-01 on my E6600 in a few weeks time, there should be enough space in that zen for it shouldnt there?
As it runs at a lower resolution it means my graphics cards last for longer before they can no longer cut it, just because the monitor is a low res in comparisson to say a 24" dell.
