Voting twice in different council areas

Hi, bit of a strange question but I'm sure someone will know!...

I've just received the confirmation of the electoral register at my home address for voting in the metropolitan borough elections - however I believe that I have also been registered to vote in Durham (where I go to uni) automatically by my college for the district council elections.

Is it possible/legal to vote twice, in both areas? Otherwise, what should I do?!

Thanks,
Alex

I was under the impression it was legal. I got two votes in the local elections last year though I was at uni so only went to the one at uni.
But I was on the electoral role for both areas. Don't see the reason why you can't do it because you want to have a say for the area(s) you live in.
Clearly you shouldn't have 2 votes when it comes to a national election :p

is this bnp thing a running joke I've been missing until now? or are you all actually bnp supporters?

Have you not seen how many Islamophobes/xenophobes/racists there are in here? :p

Some will be kidding... I hope. :/
