Dear Experts

I contacted Teleco forum since 6 days and I couldn't get any help yet

I am using router that was provided by teleco (Netgear), and I configured the VPN as per the guideline below page 5 and my router snapshot configuration attached.

Even I used the same username as in the guideline to make sure I am following step by step

https://www.telstra.com.au/content/...tra-gateway-pro-v7610-configuration-guide.pdf

Actually not much to configure at VPN server side (Telco ADSL router)

At the client side desktop windows 7 I disabled the firewall disabled and I configured the connections as per page 36 onward.
page 36 starts with :
3.5.2.2 Configuring a Windows 7 Agile VPN Connection

I didn't need to install any certification as I believe this was not applying to my case ? Am I right ?

I can't get it work although I checked the added username and password, I can't figure out what I am missing ?

Error attached as well

Thanks

iirc this error happens whe nthe certificate presented by the VPN server doesn't have the correct extensions. I had this problem on my VPN server [running Strongswan] when I initially created the server certificates. It worked fine for Android devices but not Windows (7/8/10). You've not mentioned Strongswan (or variants) specifically but it might/is likely running on your router behind the scenes so hopefully this helps.

https://wiki.strongswan.org/projects/strongswan/wiki/Win7CertReq has some background.
