Hello forum,
I am using an acer router with merlin firmware.
I have my vpn setup running on the router and most of the time it works perfectly well.
However...the vpn disconnects sometimes (I think it's when the vpn server goes down or my Internet connection drops for a while) and the router doesn't seem to pick up the connection again and I have to restart the router to get it going.
I was wondering if there was a setting of some sort where if the connection to one vpn server goes down the router will automatically try another one and then another one and so on until it finds one it can connect to? I.E. I enter the details for several vpn servers and it tries to connect to each one in turn.
I suspect its nowhere near as simple as this but I didn't think it would hurt to ask.
Thank you!
