Howdy,

Hmm, I'm not liking Leopard at the moment.. few problems that where never in Tiger, and one especially is very annoying, and hoping someone might know of a fix?

In tiger, when I setup my VPN I would ensure the "Send all traffic over the VPN connection" option was not checked, therefore I could use my own internet connection for the web, and just use VPN for what I need it to.

Well regardless of this option being on or not in Leopard, I cannot connect to the internet when my vpn connection is up? Is this just me, or anyone else have this? As soon as I disconnect from the vpn connection, voila, my internet connection is back up!

I'm sure this is a Leopard bug, but anyone know of a way around it? Or if it will be fixed in 10.5.2?

Any help will be appreciated!

Sure, Its under System Preferences > Network, click the little + at the bottom left and you can select VPN here, then you create your vpn connection like before.

They have merged all netwroking stuff in the network area now, which makes more sense!

thanks, i've connected to my works vpn, but now i can't ping anything on the network :S very confusing, any ideas what i can try?

Can you connect to the internet? Or do you connect to the internet through your VPN? If you do then it may work, otherwise I bet you can't access the web... if you can its will be VERRRRRY slow!

Let me know, cos then you have the same problem I have :)
