VPN Question

Hi,

I currently VPN into work but certain websites like Facebook / Youtube have been blocked.

Is there anyway I can configure my browser (IE or FF) to use my home internet connection rather than the work connection.

The default gateway option in the network settings isnt suitable because I need to access certain applications which rely on that.

Depends on your work VPN setup - most companies dont let you access both your home and work networks at the same time.

Answer = when you want to surf the web - turn off the VPN

Otherwise look for settings for split tunneling but I doubt you have the OS rights to change you vpn client settings

You could untick the use remote gateway, then add a static route for your office IP range into your routing table that points through the VPN tunnel.
