Basically trying to connect to my work computer from home.
the server has been setup to accept VPN and the router is all set up for port forwarding ect.
Now when connecting from home i connect to the network and can access files on the server with \\server,for some reason it wont always show this server in the network window in windows 7 but will still expand if i type \\server into any window.
Now I cant seam to connect to my computer, it finds it but then says there's a problem connecting. I believe its something to do with the fact it asks for a username and password when local to the network, but it wont ask me for any username and password? if it did I would be in and could access my files!
Please help.
