I dont know much about VPN's apart from the fact i use one to connect to my office network most days using a Cisco Any Connect app on mac / windows / mobile in order to access our remote network.

Is there a way for me to setup my router to open this connection and serve it to all home connected devices in 1 go? (is this even what a VPN tunnel is?)

I currently have a WAG320N router, but can buy a different one if this isnt possible?

Some routers can do site to site VPN (e.g billion 7800n) but I dont think you will have much luck finding one that supports Cisco's proprietary VPN technology. I guess you could have a computer as a gateway which sets up the vpn and then all your traffic is routed via that computer a raspberry pi should be able to do this assuming there is a linux/arm Cisco vpn client. But this would require quite a bit of tweaking I think.

i have a windows PC on my network that is always on, could i use this PC to route it? if so how do i tell my network to use that gates for VPN traffic?

Is the local network accessible when the VPN is up? They're often configured so you're connected to one network, or the other, not both.

Who provides/controls the VPN? Have they sanctioned your activities?

The local network is accessible when its active,it creates a new virtual network device when its active which is what it uses for all the VPN network activity.

And yes they are fine with it.. (bit of a random question).
