Does anyone know a good cheap VPN that I can use to bypass throttling. I am currently using the one that comes with giganews but I am looking to cancel it as it is starting to become expensive.

VPN to bypass throttling?! I dont think there is such a thing. All data coming into your modem is measured the same regardless if its normal traffic or traffic coming over a VPN

I think he means using one to disguise the traffic as something that wouldn't be normally throttled. It's encrypted so can't be sniffed. If the ISP throttles based on the throughput alone then it wouldn't help.

I mean to disguise the traffic as for example if i download a torrent it normally only downloads at around 100kb/s but with the VPN it downloads at 3mb+/s of course seed dependant. Not to mention my streaming is a lot faster with the VPN as well.

Virgin 50mb is crap with the throttling I even need the VPN to just stream some videos on youtube at times as it constantly needs buffering and I still have 10 months left on the contract so I am stuck with it.

maybe there not throttling everybody but I am definetly getting throttled the fact my speed jumps when using the VPN is proof of that not to mention videos stream smoothly on VPN and is extremely slow without it.
