VPN

Would like to get a VPN, what are the recommendations?
I've been looking online but I'd rather a non-biased approach.

I know you are lookimg at an online provider, but take a look at the RaspberryPi. They have the instructions on their Website to make one into a VPN server.

For a full blown implementation take a look at pfsense which runs on hardware or as a Virtual Machine.

Both options are free except the hosting hardware. You will need a router with port forwarding.

Hmmm I already have a Rpi. Maybe i'll take a look into that.

Depends what you need the VPN for. If simply for having secure comms on public wifi etc. the PI will be fine. If you are wanting secure access from your home to other sites or want to be able to access sites outside of the UK (netflix library in the US) then you need a VPN provider.
