VPS/Cloud/Dedicated Server Solutions

Hey guys,

I'm currently looking for a VPS, Cloud or Dedicated server of the following spec, or thereabouts.

I'll be using it for hosting websites, FTP, my Subversion server, mail-server, etc. It's mainly a personal project and used for my budding administrative and developmental pursuits.

I'm willing to pay anywhere up to £60 a month for it and am looking for something like this:

4 (v)CPUs, at 2.0 GHz or better.
4+ GB RAM
500GB + HDD Space
Windows Server 2008 or 2012 Standard Editions
Ability to host SQL databases.
An unmanaged service.

It's a hard find and I've even come close, such as 123-Reg's new Cloud server range, but they're all too inflexible.

I'm currently with 123-Reg using a VPS, but sadly they charge something ridiculous for hard-drive space an they max out at 300 GB.
 
You might want to look at Heart Internet's Hybrid Servers (HS100) - these are basically a bridge between VPS and dedicated. they usually have their own HDDs.

If you are willing to go to the US, you might find there are options there as well.

I think you'll be hard pushed to find a VPS or a dedicated with that spec and price though.
 
You're going to struggle to get a box that remotely meets your specs for that budget, both here or state side and your only real option for that budget is a i3/i5 box in from OVH but they don't exactly get raving reviews and you're almost guaranteed to have problems with them.

However it might be worth having a look on lowendbox.com and their forums, lowendtalk.com, and contacting a few of the providers (like GBServers or URPad) and see if you can strike a deal.
