Hello

I am interested in experiencing virtual reality, however I am paralysed from the shoulders down.

Is it possible to link two headsets together so two people will have the same virtual experience at the same time, but with only one person using the controls?

Any suggestions or information will be appreciated.

Thanks

James

I think that would cause serious motion sickness.

It could be possible to enjoy 3d films etc though, especially if you had someone to help with selection ( i wouldn't be surprised if there were voice controls that could be used in some cases though).

You wouldn't necessarily need the second person to have a headset too, as long as they didn't mind not getting the full experience. For most games you can have the display mirrored on a monitor, so they'll be able to see in order to make selections and the like.

this may not work very well in terms of gameplay - but if you're just needing someone to select the next experience or similar, it should.

Why not just screen mirror to a large monitor and have the 2nd person handle the controls, you handle the head movement? As long as the motion is teleport not smooth that could resolve the obvious motion sickness problem.
