A friend of mine wants a PC VR setup for driving games, which is what he pretty exclusively plays.

He's got a Logitech wheel & pedals that he uses with his PSVR and he thinks it's PC compatable, so for now he needs the PC and VR system.

He also wouldn't want to build it himself, is that going to limit his options if he went with a pre-built one from OCUK, or do they assemble any chosen components?

Get a quest 3?? If he is using a logitech steering wheel, he isn't exactly splashing the cash on his set up, so a q3 should be perfect

So how does that work with reference to my friend wanting to play PCVR racing games? (I know nothing about the Quest 3)

Can your friend not sign up to forum? then you wont have to relay everthing, and might learn something?

That would be easier for sure, but if he was going to do that, he wouldn't have asked me to do it for him.

Best thing about them is you can use them wireless, and connect to steam and play any VR games, but as he will be sat down, would be better just to plug it into the pc

Well he doesn't have a (gaming) PC, just a laptop for work, hence my asking for PC suggestions in the OP :)

I was just unsure with you suggesting the Quest 3, which can be a stand alone VR, about whether the headset did the processing or he still needed a suitable PC to run the game and it just sends the visuals to the Quest.
