VR help/spec needed

I was going to add another wing to the right of this screen, but then figured it may be better just to add a VR headset. Mainly for games like MSFS and probably Elite next.



Quest 3 seems popular? What would I need?

What are your current PC specs?

You'll need a Quest 3
Comfy headstrap [halo] consider a battery headstrap solution.
a comfy facial interface
2m + Link cable
Lens protectors or prescription lens inserts dependin on vision.

7800X3D, 7900XTX. Would that be OK?

Does it not come with a head strap or facial interface or are there better out there?

What sort of budget do you have?

Is it purely for sit down sim type games on the PC? Like Elite and MSFS?

Because if you don't ever think you will be playing games where you move around a lot or native quest 3 games, then there might be better options than the Quest 3. However, they are more expensive.

Due to space it would have to be sit down. Not fussed by budget.

Can you wear headphones with these? My DT990s for example?

Amazing feedback, thanks. Haven’t tried a VR headset for a long long time and even then it was brief.
