Anyone managed to hurt themselves playing VR yet?

I've just been messing around in Zero Caliber and managed to whack my hand on the desk, removing a chunk of skin, giving myself a nice bruise and an imprint of my controller strap on the back of my hand...

I always stay aware of my surroundings to a degree and the glowing room boundaries do the job. Just a light brush up against a wall a few times with the original Vive controller.

I saw her on a Quest 2 trailer and she broke my heart.

Yep, smacked the side of my hand below my thumb against my hi-fi cabinet while trying to throw a grenade in Arizona Sunshine 2. It still hurt a bit after two months.

The worst injury I had was back in the early days. I was playing Laser Tag in Rec Room. A guy was firing at me and had me pinned down behind a few boxes. He got briefly distracted by one of my team mates and had to move behind cover. So I said I would take this chance and try to get him, but I couldn't quite shoot him from where I was, but if I leaned on the boxes beside my I would get a perfect angle. Of course in the real world there was no boxes. It was exactly like that scene in Only Fools and Horses where Del boy went to lean on the bar.

I can remember thinking 'why haven't I stopped moving yet?' It was the weirdest sensation as my brain couldn't figure out what the hell was happening. Didn't even try to protect myself as I fell like a tree. I crashed my head off the corner of my subwoofer. It was agony and shock and everything rolled into one. I was stunned for ages afterwards.
