I need to spec a pc for my colleagues to take to exhibitions to show off our Unity engineering projects with VR.
We previously used a laptop with an optimus graphics card for the DK2, which won't work at all with the CV1 Oculus Rift. And I don't want to buy a new laptop, as the Oculus will sit in a dedicated room for 99% of the time to show to clients when they visit.
Ideally we would have a portable Lian Li TU200 or 300 (for the TC-01 trolley attachment) or similar case. But It would be good to have the monitor / keyboard portable too. So all my colleagues wouldn't have to do any more work than they did with the laptop, other than setting up the oculus rift, as i'm not sure some of them would cope with setting up a full pc rig for an exhibition.
The PC may have to go on flights as well, as we are dealing with some clients in Ireland and the US, so it all needs to be fairly durable.
The Unity projects often need a beefy PC before our projects are optimised (especially when using the Oculus!), so we also need a good graphics card, such as the new 1070 / 1080 Geforce series.
I've been trawling the forums for similar builds but haven't had any luck and i've produced several builds myself, but it's difficult to tell whether the components will physically fit into the case.
Thankyou
