So i need glasses for to see far sight clearly, and just got a new prescription from Specsavers, so im wondering which lenses to get are best. Theres just me gona use it so dunno if need vr ware ones or the other brand ones. Amyone got any and which brands u like best and why, and any issues with distance like things really close up and things far away through lenses issues?

My ipd is 64 so im guessing n2 setting for placements best yea?

Is there any uk companies or do we need to order from usa sites like vr ware? Is postage and delivery gona be a problem i.e damage in transit or are they well packed etc?

I went with vr optician cos of that dr eyeguy utuber saying they were ok more or less in their 4 diff brand overview.

What im wondering about is on the site, there's tick boxes with grey ticks in for 3 things, but blue light filters has no tick in. Does that mean antiglare and the other 3 grey ticks, are included in the base price and are applied to ur lenses, if so thats pretty good.

With my prescription and the 5 percent discount code it came to £58 delivered, using Germany postal office option. Says about 5 days to sort out but maybe it might take longer due to state of the world.

Without putting my prescription in it was £55, id thought adding my values it would shoot up in price but it didnt. Is that normal? Right was about -2.75 and left was -3.00.

Can’t remember mine steaming up.
The main benefit for me was the removal of the chance to scratch my glasses and the comfort or not having to faff around getting a pair of specs under the headset.
It might not sound a big deal, but as an example, when I first had a Rift, VR insert lenses were only available in the US. Had to buy a new pair of specs just to fit, as my frames at the time were too big.

They finally just come. :)

I think they changed the design as no letters on sides of them, and one side has a flat lip kinda thing which helps clip them on so to speak so has a click to em. I think they reduced the plastic on em so bit thinner than pics on site now? Tried em out, they seem to work but i kinda notice spiral effect ever so slight if screens one colour or something, dont think i noticed the spiral before using glasses and spacer??? I did clean lenses and eye pieces with the cloth provided first so shouldnt be smear or anything. Sorta notice slight ghosting but depends on position of headset a little, its not bad but noticed it a tiny bit on homescreen on the ui near say battery area like. Took out glasses spacer and im fine with em on, feels fine. Think i got a bit hot and sweaty tho now its closer to face tho as with glasses and spacer it had more air circulating maybe? I got the free silicon thing on btw.

Silicon thing will make it feel more sweaty as the cloth face pad will wick away sweat
