VR Rig Circa £1200

My mate wants a VR rig building for his oculas rift around a 970 card... I haven't built a system for ages but know we want a closed waterloop cpu cooler, lots of usb3 slots, spacious case thats easy to cool.

Windows 10 needed in the price so around £1100 for parts, no hd or monitor needed just SSD.. oh and will probably add an asus xonar - unless anythings better for that price range?


Not sure what OCUK provide with the guarented clock 4.4ghz system? or if it's just worth buying the cpu and bundle stuff separately and doing it alone.. we wont be pushing harder than 4.4ghz

pretty solid build, my one comment would be that the GTX1060 is likely to be out in the next month or so, giving at least the same performance and probably quite a bit more around the same price, but with all those new VR enhancements that are starting to work their way in to games with things like Obduction
