not my cuppa tea but might be for others, i dont think i've seen a football game on quest plat form until today, listed at £6 on discount.

Motion Soccer brings football to virtual reality with unmatched freedom. Switch between three views and control methods to experience each match your way.
  1. Tactical View (Mixed Reality)Place a miniature field in your real space. Watch the game without intervening, adjust tactics and lineups, or move players with your hand. Prefer the classic style? Use joysticks and aim with your gaze.
  2. Third-Person ViewFeel like you're in a traditional football simulator, but inside VR. Move your players with the joystick and enjoy the 360° stadium depth.
  3. First-Person ViewStep onto the field. Use the joystick to dribble, pass, and shoot with ease, or challenge yourself with the expert mode: move the player’s feet with your hands to create impossible plays.
Choose from 100 teams (50 clubs and 50 national teams), upgrade your players and customize names, appearances, and attributes. Play friendlies, compete in 5 tournaments, relive iconic moments in story mode, and master your skills with 18 training challenges. Climb the ranks and leave your mark on the records

I've always thought a Fifa type game would be cool if you were looking down on the pitch like some kind of god or just had control over the standard stadium camera with your head.

I think it would need an Xbox type controller though, the touch controllers are too limited.

just got the demo, and can see its fun, but cant figure out the keeper so every shot is a goal

if you look at reviews on Meta you'll see its hard for new apps to get people to leave reviews.
27 reviews in 2months or so isnt to bad i think. its had little exposure as best i can tell, and football isnt for everyone/everyones cuppa tea

yeah, i was hoping to see what the story mode / progression / league system is like. the game play is decent enough ( except the keeper) but without a decent "game" behind it, it will never be anything more than a 20 minute novelty

make sure to leave that, and see if they have a road map

multiplayer mode coming according to team :
