Hi all,
Over recent months there has been a lot of "noise" about vRAM and how it effects the performance of your device whilst gaming.
Some brands would have you believe that size doesn't matter, but at Gigabyte we know this isn't the case and we aim to tune our machines and build specs that are geared towards enhanced gaming experiences,,, Hence why in out P35W & P37W, we use GTX970M 6GB vRAM, and in our P35X and P37X GTX980M models we use 8GB vRAM...
vRAM is used for depositing:
Larger Vram will reduce Screen Lag, Frame tearing and greatly improve your average Frames Per Second in gameplay and also greatly enrich lighting/shadow effects...
Regards,
Gigabyte UK NB Team
