not sure if this goes here or under graphics

Anyway, spec is in sig. Basically I have my monitor setup for main use, and when playing games I use the 40" TV, Vsync is forced on in Nvidia control panel. The problem is I get no Vsync issues on the monitor, Ive played games using the monitor - no problems at all. But playing from the TV i get this stupid line flicker towards the top of the TV and I dont know how to stop it

Monitor is 1920x1080p 60hz, my Samsung 40" is also 1920x1080p 60hz - so they are basically exactly the same, both native to each other.

I have no idea to fix this.

TV is connected via DVI/HDMI.

Appreciate any suggestions thanks :)

Actually the problem is happening in Crysis Warhead too, seems to be FPS style games - does not flicker in racing games.

Its strange how the flicker is not on the monitor, but is on the TV.

Do you have it setup to run in extended desktop mode whilst playing game? So blank desktop on one and game on the other?

Reason I ask is I had a very similar issue to yours, and it turns out that having display running on both screens in extended desktop caused my issue. As soon as I set the TV for example (as this was getting vsync issues like you describe) to run as main screen on it's own (no extended desktop) vsync issues stopped.

you know your right, I worked it out earlier I had it setup to duplicate the display, so I tried making it use one output at a time and it worked :)
