VTun Documentation

I have hunted around on google and various places and have found only very vague documentation on VTun.

The page on VTun at Sourceforge seemed to be out of date and not correspond to the version that apt-get procures

The documentation that comes with the package itself (example files and man page) are also a little vague.

Does anyone know of a good tutorial that I can read or a good book on this area that I can buy?

Thanks ChrisB, the article was better than the accompanying files - I'm still having trouble despite following the instructions to the letter. I'm going to do a bit of apt update&upgrade and a bit more fiddling and see where that gets me.

The tun0 device doesn't even appear as part of ifconfig which should be part of the software that not even I should be able to break with the config file.....
