vtx 3d 7870 fan issue - solution required please

So during transit of my PC it would appear the fan got damaged on the stock cooler , causing a rattle which on investigation should a fan blade bent I took this off and then tried to see if this would still be sufficient.

The now off centre fan subsequently damaged further , as well as me trying to hold the GPU down to reduce vibration , which in effect knackered it stupid I know

So I removed the blades and placed a 120mm cooler master fan on the front of the cooler hoping this would do the same task , it didn't and ran very hot.

So what options do I have and what products would you suggest , I want to ideally keep the card

You could look at a 2nd hand faulty 7870 and get the cooler of that.
