I've recently seen the VTX3d 7950 X edition on OCuk for the low low price of £230. However, VTX3d released two versions of the card, the 2DHX and the 2DHXv2 (V1 and V2). Anyone know the difference?

I'm in two minds about getting this card at the moment. I want to get a card I can clock the nipples off, yet at the same time I don't want to spend too much! Can anyone advise?

I seem to remember reading that the V1 comes with a standard 7950 PCB (ie, 6+6 pin power connectors) whereas the V2 comes with a 7970 PCB (ie, 6+8 pin power connectors giving you better overclocking performance).

Roger that, I might wait until September then and see what new deals are occurring. Conversely, I could spend a tenner more and get a different model
