Lol, are you happy with the noise of the card at that voltage?

You could probably get a bot more out of the core at that voltage but you will now get diminishing returns. Try 1225 core for the hell of it :cool:

Try bumping up your memory speed in 50Mhz steps and benching heaven after each 50mhz step.

You dont really get minor memory artifacts, the screen just becomes a mess. Core articfacts are the white dots you have seen. You will have to modify the afterburner files to go higher than that on the memory. There is a thread how to do it somewhere.

There's no need (at 1080p) to go over 1150mhz/1650mhz as all games will run at least 60fps on the max settings. Anymore clock speed/voltage is just creating unnecessary heat.

No indication from that how a 680 at, say 1250, performs relative to that.

Many thanks for posting this, was looking for some recent benchmarks with a 7970 clocked at my speeds. (1200/1600)

However in the review it states 1100 / 1200 MHz for the core, first page and 1500 / 1600 MHz for the memory. Which one is it running at not including when they used the extra OC bios?
