Any enthusiasts on the boards?

Looking to buy one and would like some advice on what looks like a mine field before parting with 10-20K.

I love the split screen version.

And 10-20k is still not a lot for a good one, decent Sambas go for more than that, try 30k plus.

there only worth what some one is willing to pay

and as for decent sambas i know of a barndoor 1952 no engine it needs a lot of work and thats up for about 30K +

They will, by definition, be old. And as for crappy, they were never made any other way.

I dont doubt my numbers where from a few years ago, maybe Samba's are dearer now then.

For those on a smaller budget, the Subaru Sambar with VW 'conversion' is possibly worth a look. For amusement maybe!
