I'm off to test drive a 2013 dsg tiguan tomorrow, anything to look for in how it works?
My current car is an old Honda auto, I've never driven a dsg box tho.

Cheers

Ensure that all gear changes are smooth, try it in both fully automatic and in manual modes.

Is this a 6 or 7 speed box?

Sometimes the gear changes can be jerky if the box has adapted to a driver who isn't a smooth driver. I think the box can relearn or be reset - not sure on this.

Yes is is normal for there to be a delay between pushing the pedal and moving off in 1st. Something that takes a little getting used to if it's your first time.
