VW Parts?

Was driving my mums car over the weekend and noticed an eggy smell and further inspection has shown the cat is on its way out.

Can anyone tell me the best place for VW parts?

Car in question is a Mk4 Golf 1.6 on and 02 plate.

Well not that part number in particular

I've used them before and never really had a problem, although I always collect from the branch

The smell is because it is overheating, usually caused by excessively rich AFR. You should get this problem fixed otherwise a new converter will be destroyed pretty quickly.

I've used www.vwspares.co.uk a couple of times and can't fault them.

A really rich AFR (enough to damage the cat) should bring the emissions light on the dash.
