Thinking of buying a VW Transporter camper van.

Anything i should take into consideration when looking at them?. My budget will around £40k...

It will only be for me.
 
What model year? They're a bit small on the inside, I would prefer something a little bigger myself. Transits are a better size although not necessarily a better van.
 
I'd suggest renting one for a few weekends first.

I had one, liked it, but really wanted next size up. Having a toilet makes a massive difference imo.
 
A VW Microbus with shovels and rakes and implements of destruction?
 
They’ve just realised the new ones based on the multi van - which is actually built on a cars chassis and the design isn’t as good IYAM

Anyway, your best looking at a T6.1 as said above you really want to get one with a toilet. Westfalia do the best ones with a toilet. I’d check theirs out and see what you think.

They are the original camper and became a shoot off from VW back the day.
