the VX922 is certainly a very fast screen for gaming. It doesn't really offer much, if any, real performance improvement over the 4ms / 3ms rated VX924 though, so if you can still get the VX924 then it might be worth saving the money if you've got your heart set on these models. The panel isn't really well suited to movies however, being let down by the restrictive viewing angles inherent to TN Film technology and to the noise in movie playback which is only made worse by the aggressive overdrive application. If you have that kind of budget then you could get a much more all rounded model like the Viewsonic VP930, arguably one of the best all round screens in the market. the Belinea 102035W might also be worth a look, and the extra screen size and WS aspect are really nice for movie watching if that is something you might use the screen for
