vx revolution or mx1000

hi
looking for a new wireless mouse. i like the looks and features of the mx revolution but cant justify paying £50-60 for it plus do not have that much yet so ive been looking at alternative. at the moment i could get either the vx revolution or the old mx1000 for roundabout £35.
which one in your opinion would be better to go for or are there some other mices that are better?

Well, never used the revolution, but certainly very happy with my mx1000.

i've got the mx1000 and i'm happy, not tried the other.

The VX is a bit small for desktop use.

Out of the two I'd go for the MX1000, but if you can get the MX Rev. do. The freewheel scroll's really useful.

I got the mx revolution last week. I'm very happy - fits in the hand nicely.

VX Rev is for the laptop which I used last time and seem very good but not for desktop - try MX Revolution mouse I used - seem nice and easier also the thumb scroll for Vista 3D Flip, you have to check the battery level which it not lasting longer if you use a lots. it rechargable battery on MX version, Im still happy with it and work very smooth.
