VXR Styling pack

I have been looking at a few cars on the net, those of you who have seen the Fab fabia thread will know this.

I have just come across a real good deal on a Vauxhall Astra CDTi 1.7 Club 5dr.

On visiting there website, it says that you can get what they refer to as a: VXR Styling pack one.

I love the VXR but I want a diesel. So I have a few questions.

Has anyone here got one? an Astra 1.7 Club that is..

Do they do an after market VRX styling pack or do you have to order them that way...

I realise that the styling pack does not include the alloy wheel so I would buy them elsewhere...

..and finally, anyone got any pics of what it looks loke with the styling pack? or better still has anyone seen one with the VRX styling pack? does it look like the VRX, I know that may sound like a silly question but you know what dealers are like when it comes to flogging there accessories!!

Don't bother with a 1.7 CTDi Club - it isnt well specified and the engine isn't brilliant.

If you want a new Astra, go for a CTDi SRi with the 1.9 litre engine in it. That engine is great.

You can get any of the styling pack's frrom somewhere like www.lmfvauhall.com with a nce discount.. just given them a ring, For my Zafira the kit would have been £1300 fitted at the dealers, or £625 from LMF + £250 to fit/spray it..

The 1.9 is the much pokier engine, and the 150 version suits the car well..

I love the look of the 3 door, very nice ,the 5 door is a bit marmite for me..

It's also worth looking at the Focus if it's in your price range, they are very good as well..
