VXR Track Days 2012

Quite a change from the format of the previous years days. 2010 was half a day for £100 with 3 hour of open track time. 2011 was a whole day split into sessions (don't know how much). This year it looks like 1 hour of track time for £35.

We need details on if thats 1 full our, or just the slot for your session. 1 hour of ragging VXRs sounds like fun for £35, but if its just 3 laps in each of the 3 cars then its less interesting...

Edit: Looks to be more like the 2010 setup with 2.5s of open pitlane track time and up to an hour of driving.

Shame its only at Rockingham :(

Hmmm, from £99 to £35. Does this mean each session will be open to more places and less time on track?

Doesn't seem that way, up to 1hr on track is says. I might just have to do this finally!
 
Would be good if I lived closer, but 4 hours travelling for an hour on track isnt particularly appealing. Although you are there for a few hours and you actually spend the full hour driving?

I'll hold my own VXR Day at J.Prince Estates. You're all welcome, just bring some Lemonade and some Japanese girls.
 
UP TO 1 hour track time. Not worth it IMO. If i lived within a few miles of Rockingham, that'd be fine.

I'm happy to pay ~£100 for the normal track days in the same format as previous years.
 
The tuition package looks like superb value for money and would be far more tempted with that than the £35 one. 3.5 hours of track tuition in someone elses car for £195? Bargain
 
Such a shame that they aren't keeping to the same format of previous years, I've been for a number of years but I don't think I will bother this year.

Maybe next year....
 
Considering the distances involved and the risk of very little track time, I shan't be participating this year :( I'll invest the money in some outdoor karting time instead I think :D
