I just migrated to a Q6600 via an E6600 & E2180 but retained my W/C gear. Pump is a standard 12w DDC (not ultra) and black ICE Stealth GT 360 rad. Temps have naurally gone up gone up with the OC'd quad and are now 38 degrees at idle and 70 degrees when all 4 cores are max stressed under Prime. Voltage is 1.48v in Bios. I had it at 3800Mhz @ 1.58v but temps were 79-80. As I use the PC mainly for surfing and gaming I know I am never going to be hitting 70 again under normal load. So the question is should I be upgrading my cooling setup to lower temps/ go for better clock or just leave it as it is (temps will be higher in the summer as the pc is it the garage). Should I be updating the rad (to say a PA360), the fans to something that shift more air (got Alphacool badged fans which came with the kit & are quiet and slow turning), the pump or a combination. Easiest and cheapest option would be just to add an extra 120 rad & plumb it into the loop somewhere. Any suggestions? Also is it worth while getting the Dtek knozzle kit, or do I need a better pump to cope with it?

Cheers

Your rig looks fine to me, the only thing you may need is a rad upgrade and yes the PA120.3 is an excellent choice and would help lower your temps.

Normal temps are around 38 - 42 idle and 55 - 60 full load on my system with the fans at minimum, 15 - 20db.

I normally turn the fans up half way on my fan controller for gaming sessions.

p.s I mailed you those .lcd files :)

Thanks mate, got them, work fine. I suspected the rad may be to blame with 3 componets on the loop. I'll get the PA 120.3 after Chribo.
Cheers
