W.I.P Hoth, aka the Cubetrooper

So this build is a bit of a mad one.. it's built on a budget (ish) so I haven't gone insane, but it's a little different.

Specs are:

Intel i5 6600 skylake
8gb crucial ballistix sport ram, White @2400 (soon to be 2800/3000)
Asrock Z170m Extreme4 micro-atx
GTX970 G1 Gaming Windforce GPU custom painted white
Scythe Ashura CPU cooler with 2x White Silverstone 120mm fans
120gb SSD boot drive
500gb SSD steam drive
500gb HDD storage drive
Aerocool Strike-X Cube case in White

The motherboard is unfortunately black, no micro atx z170 boards in white that i've seen yet, and the GTX970 had to be stripped anyway as I found some corrosion on the back, so I stripped it and cleaned it, then decided that as it was in bits to spray paint it.

No idea if it'll boot up yet, but hey...

Nice work on the 970. Did you consider painting the gigabyte logos black?

No I hadn't, but now I am... Black or maybe gigabyte blue.

I'd have to use a very fine brush, but a very interesting idea.. Thanks for that!

Maybe you could paint the whole thing black/blue, then lightly sand off the black from the outer section. Then mask off or fill the logo with something like bluetack, and spray the outer part white.
