W/S TFT Monitors (With Pics)

I've just purchased 2 widescreen 19" HP W19 monitors for a dual screen set-up, moving on from my single 20.1" NEC 2080UX+ monitor.

What I'm angry about is that I payed £950 for my NEC monitor about 2.5 years ago and these 2 new monitors which I payed £150.00 each for give a much better picture, both in contrast & brightness!!!

I just wondered if anyone else has these HPW19 monitors as I cannot find any reviews on the net for them and I think they are absolutely great and I would like other people opinions, I'll post a pic of them on here later.

i would like to get one of those for my xbox360. i was going for a hannsG but this HP looks much better and costs roughly the same price...
have you compared it to other 19" screens?

To be honest I didnt do any research into this monitor as I could not find any reviews on the net so I just went for it, and only being £150 I thought what the heck!

I'm so glad I did buy it though, I even went back and brought a second as I was so pleased with it, also not 1 dead pixel on either so I'm happy!

I don't think you will be dissapointed with this monitor and playing the 360 on it is going to look amazing

The screen has both DVI and VGA connections

If you don't like the common 19" WS screens around Fujitsu do one too, styling reminds me of some of the Viewsonic range, tho I half wonder if I am the only person in the UK who actually owns one

The actual monitors look very nice, shame about the stands though! Get yourself a dual monitor stand!

I agree, the stands do look a bit rubbish. Can these monitors be wall mounted?

I would have thought so, most monitors are VESA compatible these days!

Yup, they can be wall mounted which I will do when I get time!

I got the HP w19 about 2 weeks ago and did a review of it on the widescreen gaming forums Here my review is basicly my inital thoughts, but after using it day to day I have to say overall I'm pleased with it.
