My target of breaking into the top 100 in the team has been reached :D

Funnily enough I've reached 100th with bang on 100 WUs completed and almost exactly 20,000 points. It has taken me 26 days and i've stomped over 550 fellow folders on my way here.

So for anyone just starting out folding for OcUK you can estimate that you will need to fold around 100 Work Units (WUs) to get into the top 100. Of course how many WUs it takes will depend on what WUs you get sent by Stanford and how may people have entered the top 100 between now and when you make it (due to people pushing up the level it takes to go top100). Another way of looking at it is that it takes 20,000 points (i'm on 19,358). For reference all the machines I am folding with use the -advmethods parm and some are accepting big WUs while others aren't.

Looks like our production is back up after a bad week last week too. Fold on...

watch your back though - a whole bloodthirsty horde may be on its way :eek: :D

heh, i do take a glance behind from time to time. So far no-one behind me has matched my 24hr average. But there's someone called 'br' who isn't far off and if i slack off The_Ohio_Psycho could gobble me up too ;)

It's bound to happen one day but until then they can all eat my dust ;)

Was wondering when someone would ask :D

1 x AMD64 Venice @ 2250mhz | 1Gb RAM || -advmethods + large WUs

4 x Pentium 630 @ 3000mhz | 1Gb RAM || -advmethods + large WUs

1 x Celeron D @ 3000mhz | 512mb RAM || -advmethods + large WUs

5 x Celeron D @ 2660mhz | 256mb RAM || -advmethods

1 x Celeron Northwood @ 2400mhz | 768mb RAM || -advmethods + large WUs

If they were all 24/7 i guess i'd be producing between 2000 and 3000 points per 24hours but they're not. The P4's are using a single CPU thread only.

Which ones are on and when varies a lot. The Celeron D's are in an airconditioned room which is nice.
