w00t! my first decent overclock!

w00t! just managed to get my 2600 barton up to 2.27G's!

i used 198fsb with a multi of 11.5 and voltage of 1.700 it runs fine under windows normally but everytime i run super pi it freezes up i've tried it with vcore up to 1.75 dont really wanna go to 1.775 or 1.80 any ideas? i set AGP to 66mhz and set memory timings to agressive

im on a Asua A7N8XE with PC2700 mem

nice overclock but i personally think voltages are abit high and wouldnt go any higher, what temps are you getting

The voltages are fine. The athlon XP barton cores could take a lot i had mine at 2.1V on air but then the board died. So im running mine the max the board will do 2.3ghz 11.5x199 at 1.75vcore and its still running fine after over 3 years

2.1V is only recomended for very very good cooling though and 1.9v will be fine on a good heatsink

i have Thermal take big water water cooling im gettin temps around 57 full load in this heat with 1.725 volts so not too bad!

you say you have yours at 2.3ghz could you tell me what ram timings , speed spectrum ect you are using?

I left speed spectrum at default the ram timmings werent great as its using PC133 and has overclocked to 199 i dont know about the ram timmings though ill put it together and have a look
