Despite the roads being rather wet here this morning there was more grip today than there has been in quite a while. We've had two big downpours this week and I recon a third one in the next couple of days should return the roads to normal :D

[runs off to check BBC weather site]

Panda Pops! No more rain forecast for the next few days. Ah well, just have to enjoy what we've got.

Holy randomness batman!

Yeah the weather here is a bit odd. Was extremely windy this morning. Just half an hour ago it was really dark and cloudy then it started to pour down, and now the skies are blue, its sunny and it's not even windy

What can I say? I'm a happy man :) After weeks of losing traction just accelerating in a straight line and driving like I've got Miss Daisy cut up in the boot I can finally start to enjoy myself again ;)

I never have fun FWD :(

I do get FWD drift though which can be some fun, shame its not the back end :(

I found the easyest way to make the back end of a FWD car swing out is to find a gravely road (helps to be a wide road) and make the car swerve back and forwards like a pangalum and then after a little bit the back starts to slide around from side to side in a drift :D

It feels like your skiing with your car :p

shush about the rain! my Pug 306 is like a pond inside thanks to BOTH doors letting water in, can't believe how much water comes in overnight!

Guess what i'll be doing this weekend! <facepalms>

Well upset- I was going to go for a blast in the Mazda saturday morning (I'm working every day this week but have sat and sun morning off) as the weather was down as sunny for sat. They have changed their minds now and say that it will be cloudy with very poor visibility. Looks like I will be applying boot polish to the roof to make it look nice instead!!

we had rain over the weekend, i decided whilst i was out in the eclass to get some 2 ton barge sideways action.

i then polished it yesterday... and it promptly rained overnight, derigeur

Ding Ding, last time i did that the back end whipped round faster than a chav in a halfords store :D

Lol Nice saying :p
Try my idea, there is no lift off involved :)

FWD
nah just hit the bend as fast as you can (about 10mph too fast) and lift off, nice bit of lift off oversteer.. Just be prepared to get back on in the right bit of the rev range or its hello tree.
My focus does it great. got harder after the koni's and 215/40/17's tho.
