W00t!

My lowest frame times on Native Linux SMP were 9:98ish and on VMWare Linux 10:40ish, that's quite a small difference.

Perhaps the inefficiency with a Quad Core is in having to run 2 instances of VMWare?

Yip it and Windows itself. Ubuntu itself uses very few resources.

With three 3029's and a 3050 running my Quad @3.35ghz is currently taking ~18mins per frame in native Ubuntu.

I only wish i was getting a few 1760 pointers rather than the steady stream of 1440 pointers. That would be worth anything upto an extra 5-6000 points per week at current production.

I haven't had any of those, if I do get them I can at least compare the times to yours now.

The Quad Core/Linux issue is a headache if you want to play games.:(

All the Quakes have Linux versions I think, just tried Quake 4 on XP and a 1:30 hit on frame times, not bad, might try it on Linux soon.
