W10 Defrag/Optimisation problem

not sure if this is an isolated issue or not.

basically the defrag/optimisation tool for windows is not available on my system which is a RAID 1 SSD setup.

the analysis and optimise buttons are all greyed out.

anyone has the same thing or they are able to optimise. also I don't know what optimise actually do...

I can only assume it won't let you do it as you're using SSD rather than HDD.

Yes, its SSD but it should let you optimise as per W8.1. I think it sends out some kind of TRIM command.

What RAID controller are you using, and is the driver installed?

I disable defrag service and schedule task.

Just installed - disk defrag / optimise only shows optimise for 2 SSDs and optimise / defrag for larger (2-4 TB) HDDs
