Just as the title suggests. This was not a problem with the leaked beta, but came in with the RC and has continued into the RTM. It occurs with a fresh install - nothing else on but what MS already provides me through AUs.
I have tried various drivers, but no matter what i do, when the timer runs out and the screen goes off it immediately comes back on a second later like i've moved the mouse or something.
I've tried with disabling both nics, unticking power off for usb hubs in device manager, turn off any power management settings in the intel graphics driver. Its got me stumped! Never had this issue with xp ever.
Incidentally i can make it Sleep or Hibernate if i tell it to, but setting it to sleep after a given time nets me the failed result.
