W7 install problem

Like the title say's i am trying to install W7 on a new 1tb hdd. I have got up to the part where it says "Completing Installation". This has now been like this for 20 Mins. The three small dots to the right of it are not moving. There is no hdd/dvd activity. Should i just wait or try again?

mine looked like it was not doing anything for a while but the started off again. not 20 mins though!

Wish it'd have posted a message saying it was doing something. I panicked during the installation wondering what it was doing. Experience has taught me to disappear for a while and come back later on when there appears to be no activity.

Thanks for the reply. After leaving it for 1hr i started from scratch. the second install went without a hitch.

The fix for this problem appears to be to delete the partition you're going to install windows on, rather than just 'installing over' an existing windows installation.
