W7 live messenger...

Hi, can anyone useing W7 help me out

everytime i go onto windows live messenger i get the 2 taskbar icon, unlike vista and xp you only got the one.

Is very annoying when you are signed into multiple accounts.

and you cant close it without signing out.! :mad:

anyone know how to change this.?

Yuck why not use the combined and hide labels view.

I dont think there is anythign you can do about that problem until MS fix it

find the live.exe and set it to vista compatibility mode.

Dont do the vista compataibliy

It doesnt close when you close it.

Try it for yourself you will see.

windows live messenger is working fine for me on window 7 RTM without doing vista compatibility mode

Yeah it was working, just not in the same way as vista or xp with the icon in the notification area etc

i've set mine to stay on the taskbar.
