Hi all,

Just got my PC up and running under water fine. PC WAS working without incident on install of W7 64 bit ultimate.

Then I plugged in a USB SDHC card reader dongle with a transcend 32GB SDHC card inside. Then my PC hung up and I couldn't bring up task manager.

So on restarting I get a very quick message that looks like it reads

'no hard disk detected'

Then welcome screen takes 5-10 mins then loading personal settings takes as long.

When it's at desktop my background isn't there or many of the icons I usually have.

I think it's a different user account?

I think my original one has become corrupted?

From googling it seems I have to perhaps create a new account and transfer my old settings/files over to get my PC back to normal.

Any ideas? It sucks to have my PC sweet and I can't use it properly:(
